Clinical Studies on amenorrhea

Abstract
78 cases of amenorrhea (primary II, secondary 67, all ¢¥are ¢¥over 5 months amenorthea) are ,¢¥divide ¢¥into ollowing clinical categories according Ito their past histories, general and local signs, endemetrial- findings ,and withdrawal bleeding.
Ovarial amenorrhea 51.3%
Uterine amenorrhea . 26:9%_
-Central amenorrhea 21.8%
Among these of all cases, the ovarian amenorrhea.is the highest mumber. Among the uterine amenorrhea the largest number is caused by curettage for artificial abortion; and the next is due to. tuberculosis-. Most of central :amenorrhea caused by psychogenic reaction. Three fourth of total cases of amenorrhea -are with the age of 30.60% visited the - clinic within a year fellowing amenorrhea and the remained 4096 after - more "than -one year 47. 4have ¢¥asymptoms during -amenorrhea. 52.6% complained ¢¥of the gastrointestinal .distress ¢¥due to. the disturbance ,of autonomic nerve system. Withdrawal -bleeding caused by estrogen is.43 out of 78 cases tried, This indicates more than Ulf of total. Not a primary amenorrhea is evoked withdrawal bleeding by the mean. The means of estrogen withdrawal bleeding are not only useful to determine the prognosis of -a.menorrhea, but also. it has value to-provoke the real -menstuxation accompanying the ovulation. 5 among the 9 Eases observed by,,author have provoked normal menstruation "accompanying ¢¥the ovulation by the means.
